Programs Coordinating Committee

  • Mandate:

    The Programs Coordinating Committee is an expanded version of the Master Programs Committee that includes faculty and student representatives from Schulich’s Undergraduate programs. Its mandate aligns with that of the Master Programs Committee but include both master programs (except EMBA) and bachelor programs.

    Committee Membership:

    Members of the Master Programs Committee, plus the following ex-officio voting members:

    • Undergraduate Program Director
    • One faculty member who serves on the BBA/iBBA Programs Committee
    • Two student members who represent students at the BBA/iBBA Programs Committee

    Other Information:

    Meeting Schedule / Typical Frequency of Meetings: At the call of the chair.

    Quorum:  12 voting members

    Discussions: All members, including student representatives, are encouraged to participate actively in committee meetings and to consult the constituencies they represent (faculty, administration, or students) for their concerns and their views of issues before the Committee.  The Committee welcomes relevant information and views from various stakeholders in its deliberations and decision-making.  : All members, including student representatives, are encouraged to participate actively in committee meetings and to consult the constituencies they represent (faculty, administration, or students) for their concerns and their views of issues before the Committee.  The Committee welcomes relevant information and views from various stakeholders in its deliberations and decision-making.

    Decision-Making: In general, the Committee seeks consensus in the development of its recommendations.  When this is not feasible or when a formal vote is required by school or university policy, motions are carried on the basis of a majority of the Committee’s voting members present.
