Innovation at an academic institution occurs at the program and course level. Schulich has always been known for its innovative offerings.
Recently the Province of Ontario has changed its Quality Assurance framework. As part of this effort, program-level proposals now need to include a set of expected learning outcomes. Proposals must also specify how those learning outcomes are achieved through learning activities (most commonly courses) and their accomplishment assessed (e.g., through assignments or examinations).
